Signature Based on Cursor Location

I love the concept of Blank Canvas signatures, in fact I'm planning on doing some tutorials of it on butterscotch.com.I find, however that having them default to above or below the text isn't very flexible.

I was thinking about an option in the context (right-click) menu so you could insert a particular signature at the location of the cursor.

Currently, if I'm answering an email and I get to the end and click REINSERT, it reinserts it at the TOP or at the BOTTOM, but NOT where the cursor is. That might be an even easier way to do it. That is, IF the user clicks Reinsert that the signature goes in where the cursor is and not a top or bottom. Just a thought to give it more flexibility.

          Kindest regards......

Good suggestion, but it will probably be quite some time before I can get it implemented.

I wonder if some time is coming nearer.  I love this script and can live with the few bugs.  But the lack of reinserting to cursor position is a fatal flaw.

By the time I realise the sig hasn't been added for whatever reason and hit reinsert then of course I want it to go below the text I have written.  Currently I have to cut and paste each time to get it right.

Interestingly, it does this in compose mode when I change the reply email address to one with a sig related to it - so perhaps in part this code already exists?

I'm not a programmer, just an avid user and would love to see this fixed.  So I have no understanding of how easy or difficult this might be, but can it be all that hard?

Cheers
