Blank Canvas Does Not Insert Signatures in Emails

Hi--I'm using Blank Canvas successfully on my work email account, but it does not insert a signature when I send through my personal email account. I could not find a topic about Send As addresses conflicting with the add-on, but the information requested in the reporting bugs post leads me to believe this may be the problem. I've turned off all labs features. I do have several "send as" addresses set up on my personal account. I'm running XP Professional, version 2002 w/SP3, with 2.13GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. Thanks in advance for your help! ----- What version of BC Gmail Signatures are you using? What version of Firefox or Google Chrome are you using? Are you using regular Gmail or Google Apps? What version of Gmail do you have? Do you have any "send as" addresses set up? |

Have you tried enabling JavaScript error debugging as described in bug reporting? |

Sadly no. That comes from Gmail itself if I'm not mistaken. |

Okay--I will keep the Error Console open and report anything that looks like it might apply. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for? Thanks so much for your help! |

It's actually less the error console, and more going to "Tools" > "Add-ons" > "Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures" > "Options" > "Debug" tab and setting debug mode to JavaScript alerts. |

I've done that, and enabled pop-ups, but nothing has happened yet. Is there a known issue with "send as" accounts? I have several of them and have noticed this as a point of discussion in a bug report thread or two. That is the only difference in the set up between my personal and work accounts. Hi there--Blank Canvas still is not working for me in my personal account, but I can use it for my work account with no issues. Both are running the same version of gmail and have no labs installed. The only difference between the two accounts is that my personal account has several Send As accounts on it. Love the add-on, but I would like to find a solution for this if possible. If it's not likely that a solution will be forthcoming, please let me know. Thanks! |
