Storing signatures to be used on other computers

Unless I am missing something, the signatures have to be recreated on every computer that we want the extension on. So far, I have created a draft email and attached a txt file for each signature that I have so I can recreate the signature on another computer. It would be nice to have the ability to install the plugin and grab previously created signatures. Perhaps have a config folder in GMail that the scripts are stored in?? Point to a server on the web (ie my own FTP server / http server, etc. to retrieve the configuration? Anyhow - just an idea.

This has definitely been suggested in the past and is something that I am considering. For the time being, it's a matter of figuring out the code behind the process and going from there. It will probably be a while though due to security concerns and the sheer tecnhical complexity.

The forum seems to be near dead. Is there any news on this?

Is there a way to copy the signatures from one computer to another?

Are the signatures stored in a file or something?
