This occurs due to old or corrupted installed extensions.To fix this, try deleting the following files from your Firefox profile directory (usually c:Documents And SettingsusernameApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles or LibraryApplication supportFirefoxprofile on a Mac)

extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.rdf
